AWS Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect will have a deep understanding of cloud computing, AWS products and services, and experience in designing and deploying architecture on the AWS platform.

Responsibilities

Technical Experience:

Cloud Architecture Design: Understanding how to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions using AWS services like Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and AWS Lambda
Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, and using AWS SDKs and APIs for application integration
Serverless Computing: Expertise in building serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway
Automation and DevOps: Skills in automating cloud infrastructure and development pipelines using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeDeploy
Cloud Security: Knowledge of AWS security services like AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Key Management Service (KMS), and Amazon GuardDuty to ensure secure cloud environments
Containers and Orchestration: Experience with containerized applications using Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service) and Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
Database Management: Familiarity with AWS database services such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora for managing and scaling databases
Monitoring and Logging: Using AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail for monitoring and logging to maintain application performance and security
Network Configuration: Proficient in AWS networking services such as VPC, Direct Connect, CloudFront, Route 53, and security groups. Experience with configuring subnets, routing, network access control lists (NACLs), and VPNs.

Required Experience

Other:

Communication: Excellent customer-facing skills, ideally gained in presales or consultancy roles.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications required.
